Anita Kim, LMT, 200-Hour RYT, MS
I have a Master of Science in Marine Biology and have been in the world of lobster biology for over 10 years. The past few years have led me to be more interested in humans as well as crustaceans. In 2013, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Be. In Union Yoga in Somerville, MA. I continued my journey in learning more about myself and about others by completing a 650-hour massage therapy program at SpaTech in Ipswich. I currently work in all three fields! When I'm not working, you can often find me at the studio taking a yoga class, enjoying the outdoors, and occasionally climbing a rock wall.
I truly believe that supportive, appropriate touch can be incredibly powerful and healing. I combine therapeutic touch with yogic principles of breath and awareness to my practice. I cater each session to the client's needs in order to relax and relieve pain and stress - either physical or emotional. By holding each client in the highest regard, I aim to create a safe supportive space that allows for the greatest healing benefit.
